The SSI Dive Master Course is the first course at professional level certification. The program will teach you how to operate with divers, lead certified divers,act as a dive guide and showing divers underwater dive sites.

You will increase your knowledge about physics and physiology as well as increase your proficiency with your scuba and snorkeling skills.

You may assist with both classroom and pool sessions under direct supervision of an instructor.

SSI Dive Master. The Pre-requisites.

You must be at least 18 years old
Own a total diving system of professional type and quality
Must be an active status Dive Guide in professional status.
Have the Science of Diving certification
Have a current medical exam for scuba diving not older than 1 year and signed by a licensed medical practitioner
Be certified as an active Dive Guide level or equivalent
Logged no less then 60 open water dives totaling 40 hours or more.

SSI Dive Master. Learning Method.

The intent of the method is to provide an orientation to SSI philosophies and procedures to dive professionals that distiguish from other recognized scuba training agencies. Our method provides the knowledge and skills needed to conduct SSI programs.

The SSI Divemaster rating recognizes candidates that have the knowledge and training, necessary to perform the duties of a certified assistant. These duties including assisting SSI instructors with conducting entry-level and continuing education scuba training programs.

You’re a recreational diver and you are thinking of a first step towards passing on your passion for scuba diving to your fellow divers.

The SSI Dive Guide course has been designed to accommodate devoted divers with teaching ambitions. Together with Divemaster they will experience a rewarding course.

This program is masterminded as an introduction into the world of dive professionals. As a Dive Guide you will be qualified to lead certified divers on a variety of scuba diving adventures.

Once you have been certified you may give underwater tours to certified scuba divers, teach snorkel diving after passing the snorkel instructor module and issue snorkel diver certifications.

Be at least 15 years old (no professional) and 18 years old (professional)
Have a Total Diving System of professional type and quality.
Have a current medical exam for scuba diving not older than 1 year and signed by a licensed medical practitioner.
Hold an Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent (4 Specialty’s).
Hold a Stress & Rescue certification or equivalent
Logged no less than 40 open water dives totalling 25 hours or more.
Have logged significant experience in the following Specialty programs:Navigation, Night/Limited Visibility, Deep Diving, and Boat Diving

This certification card is a worldwide recognized qualification and will provide you with the following privileges:

There are certain limitations. Dive Guides cannot conduct, teach or assist in any SSI training programs for non–certified scuba divers.

The number of classes, hours and sessions per day are set by the your individual instructor, based on student demands, student ability and Red Sea conditions.

The SSI Master Diver course rates is one of the most elite ratings in diving today. To earn the certification of Master Diver you will enjoy specialty training, completing 4 specialty courses apart from SSI Stress & Rescue Diver and have registered a total of at least 50 dives.

After having succesfully rounded the program and having paired knowledge with skills, you may consider yourself a true master diver.

You are entitled to participate as an Open Water Diver with a minimum age of 18, or 15 with parental consent.
You need to complete atleast 4 specialty courses, a stress and rescue diver certificate, and logged atleast 50 dives. You sign up for the SSI master diver course and download the online booklet for the academic review.

The SSI Master Diver certification is SSI’s highest level of recreational diving certification. During this course, you will complete four specialty courses of your choice and the Stress and Rescue course.

During the SSI master SCUBA diver course, you will learn:

Planning dives with complete education and familiarity of the dive site and scuba diving.

To earn the certification for Master Diver, you must complete four specialty courses, two must be SSI certified, two could be from another diving agency), SSI Stress & Rescue Diver and have done a total of 50 dives.

This means SSI Master Divers commit themselves to the dive sport, because they enjoy the specialty training and the dives made during the specialty training. As a committed diver you will have more fun and you will be a saferdiver.

The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue program develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid.

The program is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver.

SSI Respond Right First Aid

The SSI Respond Right First Aid is the course answer to developing skills to manage an accident scene and provide essential first aid. Underwater, we are exploring and extending further limits so we need to be particularly aware in the event of an accident or an incident.

Being qualified as Respond Right First Aid will give you the skills to manage an accident scene and provide essential first aid.

Upon completing the course, you are bound to hold a different perspective towards diving and the safety aspects of diving. You will discover you can remain calm during alarming situations.

During the Assessment sessions, you will learn how to assess the victim and the surrounding before providing help. You will be taught the principles of the 3R’s (recognize, respond and restrictions). when performing initial survey of an emergency.

During the Stabilisation sessions you will get familiar with the ABC procedure, standing for airway, breathing and ciculation.

You will learn how to provide CPR when necessary. You will be taught how to operate the Automated External Defibrillator.

SSI Respond Right First Aid. Learning Method.

There are three area’s of note:

1. Basic First Aid—minimum requirement for SSI Stress & Rescue Course
2. Advanced First Aid—work cover approved for the work place and beyond
3. Oxygen Administration—essential qualification as a dive professional
The Response Right First Aid by SSI is equivalent to PADI’s Emergency First Response. It also goes by the name of React Right and its method is designed to train first aid providers to keep control during an emergency situation until medical assistance arrives.

As a matter of fact, the learning method is not directed to divers exclusively In other words, your React Right training is not a “for divers only” course. You do not need any prior diving experience to enroll in this training.

You will be skilled in developing proper parameters with your dive computer.

They entitle you to dive with other certified divers, enable you to purchase/rent equipment and obtain air fills anywhere you choose to dive.

During training sessions we teach you the necessary skills for safe and sound diving. We will make you feel at ease as a confident diver with respect for underwater nature.

Our sessions comprise of pool training and open water tutoring You will complete at least 4 open water dives and have the chance to experience everything you learned in the pool hands-on. After successful completion of your open water training dives you will become a certified diver. The SSI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide so your diving experiences will be limitless.
SSI Open Water Diver Course.

The Pre-requisites:

  • Completed medical statement
  • Minimum age of 16 years

  • Ability to tread water/float for at least 10 mins
  • Ability to swim 200m or 300m with mask, snorkel and fins

SSI online training is mandatory. It reduces classroom time
You will complete a 50 question examination.
The first of the poolsessions arein shallow water. When comfortable we will venture deeper into the training pool
You will learn in water deep enough to experience skills such as ascents.
The SSI courses are tailored to enjoyment and safety. We repeat and expand on your advancing skills until you are totally comfortable.
After finalising online/academic and confined water sections we will go out on the Red Sea.
During the first two dives we reach a maximum depth of 12 meters and then 18 meters.
SSI Open Water Diver Course. Learning Method.

The SSI course is base on your learning curve. Daily times may be extended or shortened depending on your ability. We prefer to spread the course over days so you do not spend entire with us.
