Why participate in clean up dive in Aqaba?
Supported by PADI Project AWARE, a global movement of scuba divers and ocean advocates. This event aimed to remove harmful ocean debris, including plastics and other non-biodegradable materials. Our mission was to clean up the dive site and raise awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans and marine life. It's also an excellent opportunity to meet other like-minded divers and learn about environmentally responsible diving practices!
Dive clean-ups play a critical role in protecting the ocean ecosystem. They help reduce pollution levels and safeguard marine life. Additionally, they promote responsible diving practices and raise awareness about the impact of littering on the ocean. By participating in these events, scuba divers help preserve the underwater world for future generations.
By practising responsible diving practices, such as avoiding touching or damaging coral, using biodegradable products, and minimizing its environmental impact. We can help preserve the ocean and its inhabitants. Supporting initiatives such as dive clean-up events is crucial to protecting the sea and promoting responsible diving practices.
