Read our answers for frequently asking questions
WHEN SHOULD I TAKE A REFRESHER?
As a new diver, we warmly encourage you to consider a refresher course if it’s been six months or more since your last dive. For those of you who have been diving for quite some time and have enjoyed over 100 dives, we suggest a refresher after taking a break of one year.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We offer for extra 5 JOD to your first dive when you book fun diving with us after a period of inactivity.
Fun diving starts from 35 JOD, check out our prices & packages here.
WHAT SKILLS WILL I DO?
Equipment set-up, pre-dive safety check (BWRAF), shore/boat water entry, regulator recovery & clearing, mask clearing, alternate air source use and buoyancy skills.
Also we are happy to refresh any skills you need. Just let us know!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
We incorporate refreshers into the diving day, so it doesn’t take any extra time!
WHY CHOOSE CORAL GARDEN DIVING CENTER in Aqaba?
As always with Coral Garden Diving Center, safety is our top priority. Our group ratio here in Aqaba is 4 divers per guide. All of our guides are PADI Divemasters/Assistant Instructors or Instructors and we usually group our refreshers separately from other fun divers. This is so that you can get the full attention of your guide, and this often means that you’ll be one-on-one with your guide for the day!
Our equipment is new and well maintained and we include the full set of all required equipment and materials in the course and package rates.
Our custom built dive boat has all of the safety equipment we may ever need and you will cruise to the dive sites in speed and style.
DON'T SKIP A REFRESHER
Dive, dive, dive. Getting into the water and diving is the best way to improve your skill and keep them fresh. Spending some time in the water with an experienced diver or — better yet — a dive professional, will help you not only practice the skills but also avoid picking up bad diving habits.
DIVE SKILLS ARE IMPORTANT
Your dive skills are the key to making you a safer diver. Competence makes you more comfortable in the water, helps you avoid pre-dive anxiety and, ultimately, adds to your enjoyment of the sport. Keeping your skills up to date by practicing is the best way to ensure that you keep enjoying every dive experience.
